We are an evangelical, non-denominational, not for profit organisation, set up to provide places where families with adoptive or foster children can come to find physical and spiritual refreshment … and lots of cake!

While Juniper Tree Breaks are explicitly Christian in nature, we welcome adoptive and foster families of all faiths and none, with the understanding that the program is explicitly Christian and that the majority of the team will be practicing Christians.

All the team members are volunteers and will be providing help and support on a non-paid basis.

Pastoral Support

There will be a dedicated pastoral team at each Juniper Tree Break. As part of the team there will be at least one qualified therapist experienced in the area of adoption, fostering or childhood trauma.

Individual sessions can be booked with the pastoral team. The purpose of these sessions would be to provide a listening ear from someone who understands or prayer ministry. While the team member may be a therapist this will not be explicitly counselling or therapy.
